We are working on two projects to help connect sidewalks and walkways in the Aloha area:
Both projects include the construction of new sidewalk and a protected pedestrian crossing.
These projects are funded by the Urban Road Maintenance District (URMD). They were selected for funding based on a requests from community members, public input and selection by the Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC).
Since 2011, 74 URMD Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects totaling over $39 million have been funded. The public can submit Pedestrian and Biking Improvement proposals. Eligible proposals are added to the Pedestrian and Biking Improvements Candidate List.
